CELEBR8 PARTY HIRE
TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms & Conditions apply to all equipment hired from Celebr8 Party Hire, including slushy machines, popcorn
machines and fairy floss machines.
1. Hire Agreement
By booking and accepting equipment from Celebr8 Party Hire, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions and
accepts responsibility for the equipment for the entire hire period. The equipment remains the property of Celebr8 Party
Hire at all times.
2. Equipment Condition
All equipment will be provided in clean and working condition at the commencement of the hire period. Customers are
expected to inspect the equipment upon delivery/collection and notify Celebr8 Party Hire immediately of any existing
damage or issues.
3. Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for taking reasonable care of all hired equipment and ensuring it is used appropriately and
safely. Equipment must only be used for its intended purpose, operated according to instructions, kept secure and
suitable, and not modified, dismantled, moved without permission, or repaired by the customer. Equipment must be
protected from rain, water, excessive heat and other damaging conditions.
4. Damage, Loss & Replacement
The customer is fully liable for any damage, loss, theft or destruction of hired equipment occurring during the
hire period, whether caused by the customer, a guest, employee, contractor or any other person at the event. This
includes broken components, electrical or mechanical damage, incorrect operation or cleaning, unsuitable substances,
unauthorised movement, missing parts/accessories, theft or loss. Where equipment is damaged beyond economical
repair or cannot be returned, the customer will be responsible for the reasonable cost of repair or replacement with an
equivalent item, including reasonable associated costs.
5. Slushy Machine
The slushy machine must only be used with approved slushy mixes and products supplied or approved by Celebr8 Party
Hire. Customers must follow operating instructions, not use unsuitable liquids/substances, not overfill the machine, not
interfere with internal components, and notify Celebr8 Party Hire immediately of faults. Damage caused by incorrect use,
unsuitable products, negligence or failure to follow instructions may be charged to the customer.
6. Popcorn Machine
The popcorn machine must only be used for its intended purpose. Customers must follow instructions, use appropriate
popcorn kernels, oil and supplies, not place foreign objects into the machine, keep liquids away from electrical
components, and not attempt to repair or dismantle the machine. Damage caused by misuse, negligence or failure to
follow instructions may result in repair or replacement charges.
7. Fairy Floss Machine
The fairy floss machine must only be operated using suitable fairy floss sugar/products. Customers must follow
instructions, keep the machine level and secure, keep liquids away from electrical components, not place hands or
objects into moving parts while operating, and not dismantle or repair the machine. Damage caused by misuse, incorrect
cleaning, liquids, foreign objects or negligence may be charged to the customer.
8. Cleaning
Equipment must be returned in the condition specified by Celebr8 Party Hire. Customers must follow cleaning instructions
provided. Excessive cleaning, damage or cleaning required as a result of misuse may incur an additional cleaning or
repair fee.
9. Electrical Safety
All equipment must be connected to a suitable and safe power supply. Customers must not use damaged power cords,
plugs, power boards or extension leads. Celebr8 Party Hire is not responsible for damage caused by an unsuitable or
unsafe power supply.10. Weather & Outdoor Events
Electrical equipment must be protected from rain, water and adverse weather conditions. For outdoor events, the
customer is responsible for adequate shelter and protection. Equipment must not be used in wet conditions.
11. Theft & Security
The customer is responsible for ensuring hired equipment is kept secure throughout the hire period. If equipment is
stolen, lost or cannot be returned, the customer will be liable for the reasonable replacement cost of the equipment.
12. Hire Period & Return
Equipment must be returned at the agreed time and in the agreed condition. Late returns may result in additional hire
charges where the late return affects another booking.
13. Bond / Security Deposit
Where a bond is required, it will be held by Celebr8 Party Hire as security against damage, loss, missing items, excessive
cleaning or other hire-related costs. The bond may be used to cover amounts owed. If costs exceed the bond, the
customer remains liable for the outstanding balance.
14. Faults & Breakdowns
Customers must contact Celebr8 Party Hire as soon as possible if equipment develops a fault. Customers must not
attempt repairs themselves. Where a fault is caused by normal mechanical failure and not by misuse, negligence or
customer damage, Celebr8 Party Hire will make reasonable efforts to rectify the issue or provide an appropriate solution.
15. Cancellation
Cancellation terms and any applicable refund or deposit conditions will be outlined at the time of booking.
16. Liability
Celebr8 Party Hire is not responsible for injury, loss or damage resulting from misuse, unsafe operation, unauthorised
movement, modification or failure to follow instructions. The customer is responsible for ensuring all users are
appropriately supervised and use equipment safely.
17. Acceptance
Payment of the booking deposit or hire fee and/or acceptance of the equipment constitutes acceptance of these Terms &
Conditions.
